Machinery Transport and Relocation
Low-bed transport of plant between sites, yards and mines across both corridors — with the correct permits and goods-in-transit cover.
What the service covers
- Low-bed transport of tracked and wheeled plant
- Abnormal load permits where the load requires them
- Goods-in-transit insurance for the duration of the move
- Loading and securing by experienced crew
- Route planning around bridge and mass restrictions
- Delivery scheduling coordinated with your site access windows
Why this is not an afterthought
The Rustenburg–Brits and Kuruman–Kathu corridors are roughly 350 to 400 km apart. Getting a machine between them is a planned operation, not a phone call on the morning of the job. Permits for abnormal loads take time, and moving without them exposes you to fines and to an insurer declining a claim.
We quote transport separately and state it up front rather than folding it into a machine rate, because you should be able to see what you are paying for movement and decide whether a closer machine makes more sense.
Transport for machines we did not supply
We move other people's plant too. If you own a machine and need it relocated between sites, or moved to a workshop for a rebuild, we can quote the move on its own.
Straight answers
Do you own the low-beds?
We subcontract transport to vetted operators while we build the fleet, which keeps our capital in machines that earn. The insurance, permits and accountability sit with us — you deal with one company.
How much notice do you need?
For a standard move within a corridor, 48 hours. For a cross-corridor move or anything needing an abnormal load permit, a week is realistic. Tell us early and we will confirm what is achievable.
Who is liable if the machine is damaged in transit?
Goods-in-transit cover applies for the duration of the move. We confirm the sums insured in writing before the machine is loaded.
Need a machine on site this week?
Tell us the job, the town and the dates. We will come back with a rate — not a runaround.
