Machines we place operators on
TLBs and backhoe loaders, excavators, front-end loaders, motor graders, dump trucks, rollers and compactors. If you run something outside that list, ask — we would rather tell you honestly that we cannot cover it than place someone who is not competent on your machine.
Why operator supply and not a labour broker
The risk in plant operation sits in competency verification and in what happens when something goes wrong. We verify certification, track expiry dates digitally, and carry the compensation cover. A general labour broker typically does none of those three things for plant specifically.
Short cover and long contracts
We place operators for a day, a shift pattern, a peak season, or a full contract period. Short cover is priced per shift; longer placements carry better rates.
Straight answers
Can we try an operator before committing to a long placement?
Yes, and we recommend it. A short trial period costs both of us far less than a mismatch discovered in month three.
Who manages the operator on site?
You do, day to day — they work to your supervisor and your site rules. We handle employment, certification, payroll and compensation cover.
Do you place operators outside your four service towns?
Case by case. Distance affects accommodation and transport costs, so tell us the location and we will be straight with you about whether it makes economic sense.
